About the roles
As a traffic manager at Tabergs Åkeri, you take overall responsibility for the planning and implementation of our assignments - from first customer contact to completed delivery. The role requires a sharp situational awareness, good technical understanding of vehicles/loads and the ability to make correct decisions under time pressure. You will work closely with drivers, customers, workshops, authorities and subcontractors.

For our business area special, we are now looking for a traffic manager / transport manager who plans and carries out special transport and crane assignments from quotation to delivery and follow-up.
Your mission
- Plan and deploy vehicles/crane resources with high precision in time and cost.
- Design layout: taking into account dimensions, weight, centres of gravity, loading/unloading conditions.
- Securing permits/licences, booking escort vehicles/escorts and quality assurance of routes.
- Key player in day-to-day operations.
- Customer dialogue, quotation/calculation and follow-up of profitability and quality.
- Documentation and compliance (e.g. driving/resting times, safety and health requirements)

You have a strong drive and work purposefully, while being good at creating long-term and trusting customer relationships. As a person, you are curious, responsible and thorough, with a structured work style. Your ability to adapt to the situation and quickly switch up when the pace requires it is a clear strength. You have an entrepreneurial approach and a strong business focus, where the customer's needs are always at the centre.
Qualifications
- Fluency in spoken and written Swedish and English.
- Good knowledge of Office and general IT skills
- Ability to take responsibility, prioritise and drive tasks to completion.
- Previous experience in traffic management
- Good geographical knowledge
Meritorious
- Other languages e.g. German
- C/CE licence, YKB and experience in special transport
- Previous experience in specialised transport
- ADR, experience in project logistics
- Previously worked in Opter
