Sustainability

Environmental and sustainability work is primarily about everyone working to ensure that the Earth's resources do not run out. Overall, there are three main categories of sustainability.

• Environmental sustainability, which aims to ensure that the Earth's resources last as long as possible.
• Social sustainability, which aims to ensure that all employees are happy and that there is a good working environment in the workplace.
• Financial sustainability, where the aim is to make enough money for the company to be financially sustainable over time.

• We set and monitor long- and short-term targets, which in turn lead to continuous environmental improvements.
• We work in a clear, sustainable and measurable way in areas such as risk minimisation to prevent pollution.
• We require the transport we carry out to be environmentally efficient.
• We influence and impose reasonable and strict environmental requirements on our suppliers, including requirements on fuel, tyres and lubricants.
• We always keep our environmental objectives in mind when making new investments.
• We inform customers and the outside world about our quality, environmental and road safety work in a way that leads to increased confidence.
• We strive for, and where possible promote, better and stricter environmental standards in the industry.

• We involve our staff in our environmental and sustainability work, including through information and training sessions
• We are committed to gender equality and to ensuring that everyone is happy in our workplace.
• Our employees are always given the opportunity to have their say before new investments are made that affect their working environment
• We always make sure that the load capacity is not exceeded and that the load is secured. Mainly to protect our staff and fellow road users, but also because we understand the importance of following the rules.
• We always make sure that vehicles, premises and equipment are kept in good condition so that our staff can work safely and our profitability remains good.
• We ensure that all speed limits are adhered to and that we keep a sufficient distance from the vehicle in front.
• Our drivers always adapt their speed to the road conditions.
• We require all employees to be drug-free.
• We require seat belts to be worn at all times when travelling.
• We organise information meetings and training sessions so that all staff know how to work. A clear objective of these meetings is also to get our staff more involved in our continuous improvement work.

• We have good economic growth, which is also a must for us to fulfil our social and environmental sustainability goals.
• We conduct our business and manage our resources in a way that makes our company financially sustainable over time.
• We are continuously working to increase customer satisfaction, which in turn means that our company is in an excellent position to maintain good financial health.
• We are a learning organisation that continuously receives feedback and complaints from customers. After that, we investigate what happened and correct any errors with the aim of making our business even more economically viable and efficient.
